Dr Tim Cunliffe
Medical Director of The MOLE Clinic, Skin Cancer Lead at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Lead for the National Accreditation of Dermatology GPwERs, PCDS committee member.

Dr Tim Cunliffe is Medical Director of The MOLE Clinic, providing strategic clinical leadership across all services, including skin cancer screening, mole assessment, teledermatology, and lesion management.
He began his career in General Practice before specialising in dermatology and is currently Skin Cancer Lead in the Department of Dermatology at Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He plays an active role in NHS skin cancer pathway development and governance.
Dr Cunliffe is the primary author of educational resources for the Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS), supporting GPs and Primary Care clinicians nationwide. He is a recognised national educator in dermoscopy, skin lesion assessment, and early skin cancer detection.
At a national level, he has worked with the Department of Health and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), contributing to the development of GPwER frameworks in Dermatology and helping shape safe, community-based dermatology models.
As Joint Medical Director, Dr Cunliffe oversees:
